Afreen Ahmed joins the team having completed her postgraduate degree in Housing and City Planning at University College London. She was born in Hackney and moved to Tottenham six years ago. She
completed her undergraduate in Geography at Queen Mary University.
Afreen will start her first rotation at Elephant Park, Lendlease’s flagship regeneration project in Elephant and Castle.
Afreen said: “I am looking forward to working at Lendlease and the chance it offers to be part of a diverse team, gaining first hand exposure to the property industry. The mix of urban, political and social factors that shape our cities directly builds on the insights gained on my Masters course.
“I was motivated to apply to Lendlease by the company’s commitment to delivering not only economic but also social change; including the vision they have for growth and opportunities in my local area.
“I will also have an opportunity to gain my Assessment of Professional Competence through the Royal Institution on Chartered Surveyors which is a vital qualification for progressing in the industry.
“I am excited to become a part of the Lendlease community, working on high profile developments and seeing results for both myself professionally as well as being involved in delivering the opportunities these projects offer for future generations”.
The Lendlease graduate scheme offers roles in construction, consulting, development and finance.
